As a Hospice RN we travel the northern part of the county and go to many different facilites, both small and large. This is a lovely home, very welcoming, people feel comfortable the minute they enter the door. The care is exceptional, and suited to each patient’s needs. If you are looking for a placement for a loved one, I encourage you to stop by and check this one out. It may be exactly what you were hoping for!
My Mother was blessed to spend the last three months in this beautiful home. She suffered from COPD, atrial fib and dementia and through all of her difficulties and 86 years, she so much enjoyed the love of Bridgette and David McKnight. With Bridgette putting on Mother’s make-up, polishing Mother’s nails and Mother enjoying the company of the fur babies. Mother’s last few months pass in the clean and loving environment of this lovely home and the McKnights….They are a true blessing.
I am so thankful that I found this facility to take care of my father. Because this facility is run by a husband and wife team, I felt my father was more at ease. My father had dementia and he was more at ease with someone he saw each and every day instead of changing faces on each shift. He had a very quiet and relaxed stay. I will always be glad that I found this place and I wish Bridgette and David well. They have a very nice facility.
After thoroughly searching Titusville for an ALF for my in-laws, I can tell you Crestwood House was the best fit for them! The smaller size of this open, bright and clean home allows for close supervision and customized care. I visited on 3 separate occasions for about 3 hours total, and found Bridgette to be personable and her demeanor perfectly suited for her work as a caregiver. I could see she truly loves her residents and that she takes great pride in her care of them. Bridgette is very comfortable with providing all types of diets, including pureed, and loves to make the ladies feel pretty by going the extra mile with their make up, hair and nails! In researching her home, I spoke with the state employee who personally inspected her facility and she had nothing but good things to say about Crestwood House!
