The Beach House is a coastal themed home nestled in a quiet neighborhood, that provides a peaceful and relaxing environment for our residents. Set on an acre of land with Florida citrus trees, this home has plenty of outdoor activities available.
This beautiful assisted living facility provides six spacious private bedrooms for residents. Four bedrooms are available with private wheelchair accessible bathrooms for our resident’s convenience. Our spacious living area provides a large gathering room, a private sitting room, and a comfortable dining room. This home has full generator back up that will power the facility for up to two weeks.

“There’s No Place Like Home” With only 6 beds and baths it is very intimate and extremely clean. Each resident has their own happily decorated private room. They can bring their own personal furnishings or they will be provided for them. With 2 living rooms and dining areas, there is plenty of room for residents to receive guests and spread out privately. Activities can be one on one or with other residents. The meals are not institutional, they are personally prepared for each resident’s taste. Does your loved
one enjoy a glass of spirits in the evenings? They’ll be happy to accommodate “the usual” for them. Each employee is extremely caring and compassionate, a walk outside or a peaceful evening sitting in the big fenced in back yard is always welcome. James, the Director, is very down to earth and realistic. Whereas we lived in NH, James sent photos of Mom enjoying different activities several times a week. We felt blessed to have found such an amazing placement for Mom.
I am so grateful for Selah , James and Kristy. It was by the grace of God that when I needed them for my Mom they had an available room. They became family in laughter, love, tears and sorrow.
James would spar with Mom on political commentary, would take her for rides on the beach, wine at the wine shop. I’d get texted updates, and random pictures. I could sleep knowing Mom was looked after. It wasn’t an easy time. I still had to work and no one available to care for her at her home that I could rely on. You see, I’m also a nurse, a nurse practitioner. I know the challenges of in home care. – What works and what doesn’t. I could trust them and their staff. It wasn’t always the perfect scenario, but it was the best scenario.
In the final days, as Mom started to fail, they supported me as much as Mom… and in the final hours they were my family as we said goodbye. Even today, almost 2 years later, we stay in touch with remembrances. I cannot express the depth of my gratitude, respect and love.
James and Christy care for my mom as though she were their own family member. They have a true compassion for the elderly, which is reflected in the kindness, patience and understanding of the the staff they hire. The home is very attractive and clean, and the food is good. I am welcome to visit anytime, and they keep me well informed of how my mom is doing. Consider yourself blessed to have found this place. You won’t find one better. My mother is a resident there now. It is everything that I envisioned for her. The staff is caring and attentive. The place is very clean. Every resident has their needs addressed individually. Everything that she needs is included in the price. If I could, I would rate it 10 stars.
James and Christy, the owners of Selah, have made my mom feel at home from the day she arrived. Along with James and Christy, their staff are caring and compassionate individuals. They go to great lengths to get to know the residents as individuals as well as their family. I am able to visit anytime but the times I am not able, I know my mom is in good hands. We moved my mom from a larger assisted living facility because the individual attention and care were lacking. We have been very pleased with our decision. We wish we had found Selah sooner!
